Tux Guitar

Subject Using TuxGuitar 1.0 and Rhythmbox at the same time

I have just installed the last version of TuxGuitar on Ubuntu 8.04.
I see that I cannot use TuxGuitar and either listen to a song on Rhythmbox or watch a video on Totem/VLC at the same time.
Is there any fix for this problem?

try install timidity.
then select a timidity port on "Tools -> Settings" "Sound"
