Subject MIDI import changes tuning

I'm running the latest version 1.0-rc3 on Windows XP.

When certain midifiles are imported, the tuning changes in an absurde way, F#5,F5,E5,D#5,D5, or all B5 and so on.
I've tried to remove all MIDI events different from notes, change MIDI channel... with no results.
In some files only one channel changes, in others none, in some everyone.

Changing tuning... affect notes and the tablature remain the same.

Any hint?

Thx in advance.

That can happend because the MIDI file is out of the standart tuning range.

MIDI file format don't save any "guitar tuning" info.
it's the importer who need try set it.
But if the notes on the MIDI file are out of the range of the values of the standart tuning, so the standart tuning will not be setted.

Maybe you can try down 1 or 2 octaves when import the file.
there is a window, what ask you for "transpose" notes before open the file. try to set it to -12 (1 lower octave ) or -24 ( 2 lower octaves )

I doesn't work with the transpose window during opening, but it works doing a pre-editing of the file with a sequencer.

Thank you.
