it's a workaround, but... [sorry if too much detail, for posterities sake]

*use the regular guitar while composing in tuxguitar.
*export midi.
*load midi into synthfont http://www.synthfont.com/
*click on the guitar track
*click on the header "SF File"
*browse to your soundfont
*if necessary, select preset/voice
**important: if you save as midi and listen to the file normally it will not have the soundfont voice
*click "Play to File"
*browse to where you wanna save it, select file type [if you don't know, pick mp3] name it and save it!
*listen to the newly exported file and enjoy!!

synthfont allows you to select different soundfonts for each midi channel, then export to wav/mp3/ogg/flac/ape/wma. it comes with a soundfont file for the generic midi voices so your other tracks will be fine if you like them like that.

if you meant you have a file to replace the current midi library, and it does replace it in all but tuxguitar, sorry for the misinformation, and i have no clue
