On my laptop with a fresh installation of Fedora 14, I have installed jre1.6.0_23.

In /etc/profile.d I have created java.sh:
export CLASSPATH=.

The output from [bengbers@BEL001 ~]$ tuxguitar & is:
[1] 3211
[bengbers@BEL001 ~]$ #
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
# SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x79732064, pid=3214, tid=3079519088

# Java VM: OpenJDK Server VM (19.0-b09 mixed mode linux-x86 )
# Derivative: IcedTea6 1.9.3
# Distribution: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin), package fedora-

/usr/bin/tuxguitar: regel 38: 3214 Afgebroken (geheugendump gemaakt) ${JAVA} ${VM_ARGS} -cp :${CLASSPATH} -Dtuxguitar.share.path="/usr/share/tuxguitar/" -Djava.library.path="${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}" ${MAINCLASS} "$1" "$2" "$arg"

What I don't understand is that it seems that although JAVA_HOME points to jre1.6.0_23, tuxguitar still uses OpenJDK.
What should I do to get tuxguitar working?

I have now changed to the jre that comes as apart of jdk1.6.0_23.
tuxguitar & now gives as output that it uses JRE version: 6.0_23-b05 but it still aborts due to an error in SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00000000, pid=2836, tid=3065457520.

Any idea how to start tuxguitar?
